The Residency at Casa Gràcia 2026

The Residency at Casa Gràcia is a newly established international residency program located in the historic city of Mahón, Menorca, Spain. Founded by artists Rashid Johnson and Sheree Hovsepian, the residency offers artists and writers uninterrupted time and space to deepen their creative practices in a tranquil Mediterranean setting. The residency is intentionally self-directed. Participants are not required to produce exhibitions or public presentations. Instead, the program emphasizes experimentation, reflection, and engagement with the local community. Residents also benefit from the support and expertise of the team at Hauser & Wirth Menorca, one of Spain's leading contemporary art centers.
