About this opportunity
The APEX Awards support interdisciplinary researchers who want to pursue innovative, high-risk projects that bridge disciplines. The programme encourages collaboration across the natural sciences, engineering, medical sciences, humanities and social sciences, enabling researchers to explore novel ideas that may not fit traditional funding schemes.
Requirements
- Be an independent researcher.
- Be based at an eligible UK institution.
- Hold a permanent, open-ended or fixed-term academic appointment covering the award period.
- Propose an interdisciplinary research project.
- Meet all eligibility requirements published by the Royal Society and partner academies.
