Spaces of Culture Grant 2026

Spaces of Culture 2026 is an international grant program supporting innovative cultural relations projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is part of the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture Programme, implemented by EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) and funded by the European Union. The initiative promotes equal partnerships between African and European cultural actors and supports projects with strong local ownership and social impact.

Projects must be developed through a triangular partnership, including: 1\. Local Partners At least three local cultural and/or civil society organizations. 2\. European Partners At least: Three EUNIC members, or Two EUNIC members where no EUNIC cluster exists. 3\. EU Delegation Involvement An EU Delegation must be involved in the project. 4\. Shared Development Projects must demonstrate: Co-creation Mutual learning Equal partnership Dialogue Local ownership Long-term collaboration 5\. Application Language Applications must be submitted in English. 6\. Required Documents Applicants must provide: Application form Budget in EUR Support letters from partners
