Spring Residency at Hangar for Musicians, DJ’s and Producers Open Call

The Spring Residency at Hangar is an international, process-based artistic residency hosted by Hangar – Centro de Investigação Artística in Lisbon, Portugal. It supports musicians, DJs, producers, and sound artists to develop experimental and interdisciplinary music projects in a professional creative environment. The residency focuses on: Artistic research and experimentation Cross-disciplinary collaboration (music, visual arts, performance, media) Exploration of contemporary themes such as memory, identity, diaspora, and global culture Developing new work using Lisbon’s artistic ecosystem

Applicants must: Be musicians, DJs, producers, or sound artists Submit a project proposal (what they intend to develop) Provide: CV / biography Portfolio or samples of work (music links, mixes, productions) Residency timeframe request Be open to public engagement activities (performances, talks, open studio) Work in experimental or research-driven music is preferred
