Africa's Business Heroes (ABH) Competition 2027

Africa's Business Heroes (ABH) is widely regarded as one of Africa's most prestigious entrepreneurship competitions. Established by the Jack Ma Foundation, the program identifies exceptional African founders who are solving major problems, creating jobs, and building scalable companies. Every year, the top 10 finalists compete for a share of a US$1.5 million grant pool. Beyond the funding, participants receive mentorship, global publicity, investor introductions, leadership coaching, and long-term access to the ABH ecosystem. The competition is sector-agnostic, meaning startups from technology, agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, education, logistics, and other industries can apply
