Africa Writes Festival Artist Support

African or African Diaspora Artist Applicants should identify as: African creatives, or Members of the African diaspora. ✅ Literary or Artistic Practice Eligible applicants include: Writers Poets Storytellers Spoken word artists Authors Literary performers Editors and translators ✅ High-Quality Creative Work Applicants should demonstrate: Published work, or Strong unpublished manuscripts, performances, or literary projects. ✅ Festival Participation Applicants should be available to: Attend the festival. Participate in readings, discussions, workshops, or performances. ✅ English Proficiency Since the festival is conducted primarily in English, applicants should be able to communicate effectively in English.
