About this opportunity
The Mandela Washington Fellowship is the flagship programme of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). It brings exceptional young African leaders to the United States for intensive leadership institutes, networking, mentoring, and professional development designed to strengthen leadership across business, civic engagement, and public management.
Requirements
- Be between 25 and 35 years old (exceptional applicants aged 21–24 may be considered).
- Be a citizen and resident of an eligible African country.
- Demonstrate leadership experience.
- Show commitment to public or community service.
- Be proficient in English.
- Be eligible to receive a U.S. visa.
